As well as a fantastic foodie offering in The Boathouse Restaurant, The Beetle & Wedge provides a selection of private hire boats, whether you’re looking for self-drive or a chauffeured experience. Order a picnic to enjoy on board or combine a day out on the River Thames with dinner in the informal riverside restaurant. The older part of the beamed Boathouse offers delicacies from the open charcoal grill.

Make it a complete experience and stay overnight in one of three beautiful bedrooms overlooking the Thames.

Boat Hire

'Klip' is a superb launch that can cater for groups of up to 10 people, Klip is comfortable and versatile, comes complete with canopy for our not so fine summer days and is simplicity when it comes to navigating the river. Rates: Mon-Fri from 1hr £55 to Day £320, Sat/Sun/BH from 1 hr £60 to Day £350.

There is also a selection of chauffeured vintage launches catering for up to 12 or a larger boat catering for 35-80. Details can be found on the website.
